- COVID-19 vaccine booster shots are now available in CC, Maryland and Virginie. According to OMCP, both in DC and in Maryland, all you have to do is self evaluation that you need a reminder. This means no evidence is needed to get the third dose. According to the DC Health Department, this will help ensure there are no additional barriers to getting the vaccine. (WTOP)
- Governor Larry Hogan recently called for a presidential declaration of disaster for the state of Maryland following tornadoes and severe flash floods caused by the remains of Tropical depression Ida. He designated the Maryland Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) as the national demand coordination agency. Governor Hogan also requested that the Risk Mitigation Grants Program be made available to the 24 state courts. (Maryland.gov)
