Wizkid with Tems and Justin Bieber—Essence
Grammy-winning singer, Wizkid, and Tems teamed up with Canadian superstar, Justin Bieber, to remix the song, Essence, which also became a huge global hit and summer 2021 anthem.
Released in August 2021, the song has garnered over 460,000 views on YouTube.
Future with Drake and Tems — Wait For U
The song was released in April 2022 and features Nigerian superstar singer, Tems and Drake. Shortly after its release, the song debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 song chart.
Additionally, “Wait For U” was streamed a total of 40.2 million times, with 7.9 million radio audience impressions and 6,400 downloads sold during the tracking week from April 29 to May 5, according to Luminate via Billboard.
The track also commemorated Drake’s tenth time at No. 1 on the Hot 100 chart. In a festive premiere, Tems adds No. 1 to his growing arsenal of hits. This is Tems’ second top 10, after Wizkid’s “Essence” landed at No. 9 on the chart in October 2021.

American rapper, DaBaby has teamed up with multi-award winning Nigerian actor, Davido to release the song, Showing off her body. The song was released on Friday.
The music video caused a stir when DaBaby flew to Nigeria for the first phase of video shooting, while the second phase of filming took place in America.
The commotion was caused by the Nigerian aspect of the filming which took place on the streets of Lagos and viewers were delighted to see the celebrities in real life.
Moreso, while in Lagos, DaBaby took to his social media accounts to announce that he had a great time in Lagos.
The song, which was released on Friday, had garnered over 477,000 views on YouTube.
Fireboy DML with Madonna – Frozen
Iconic Nigerian singer, Fireboy DML has teamed up with legendary American singer, songwriter and actress Madonna to deliver a remix of one of her classic hit songs, Frozen.
The original song, Frozen, is a song from Madonna’s seventh studio album, Ray of Light (1998). It was released as the album’s lead single on January 23, 1998 by Maverick and Warner Bros. Records.
The single was also a worldwide commercial success. It became Madonna’s sixth single to reach number two on the US Billboard Hot 100, making her the most successful number two artist in that chart’s history at the time. “Frozen” also became his first single to debut at the top of the UK Singles Chart, while reaching number one in Finland, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Scotland and Spain, and the top five elsewhere.
